I graduated from the University of South Carolina at Beaufort with a BA in English Language and Literature in 2008. I've worked in public libraries, in public schools, and as an online writing tutor. I spent 2010 serving as an AmeriCorps*VISTA in Northern California. I am interested in art, music, literature, film, and culture. I am also a creative writer, and published a literary journal called The Pen with other students at my university.
